Upcoming Summer Exhibit: showcasing Veterans and Active Military in Alamance
“A SALUTE TO ALAMANCE”
Saluting our Veteran and military service Artists & creators
Alamance Arts is honoring our veterans and active military in Alamance County through an upcoming Summer exhibit titled “A Salute to Alamance”. This group show will feature the artwork of our military and veterans.
We are hoping to receive a very wide range of artistic mediums, such as:
paintings
photography
drawings
prints
songs
poetry
plays
fashion
woodworking
glass
sculpture
true stories
fictional storytelling
The goal of this exhibit is to connect veterans and active military within the community and to encourage and embrace the artistic endeavors of military voices and artistic perspectives. We want to get to know how you choose to express yourself and your experiences through your art medium of choice.
A Salute to Alamance will be on view in the Sister Galleries of Alamance Arts from July 11th, 2024 - September 10th, 2024.
Submit up to three pieces to be included in the exhibit.
All selected artwork that incorporates a visual element will need to be framed by the artist and/or ready to be displayed on the exhibit wall. Alamance Arts will not prepare artwork or images for presentation, other the general exhibit information.

Delivery Dates: Wednesday July 3rd, Friday July 5th, & Saturday July 6th 2024
Pickup Dates: Wednesday 09/11/2024 - Saturday 09/14/2024
Eligibility:
Artist must currently be active duty or qualify as a veteran.
Submitted artwork does not have to be for sale, but you do have the option to sell at the exhibit.
Artwork must be original and entirely the work of the submitting artist.
