GIFT SHOP CONSIGNMENT

Alamance Arts manages Picasso’s Gift Shop, a gift shop dedicated to showcasing regional artists. Each artist participating in the Gift Shop is assigned a space within the gift shop that is entirely devoted to a single artist’s collection of artwork. Gift Shop artists are selected by a panel to have artwork on consignment for a 4-month period. There are 21 spaces available in the Gift Shop, half of which are reserved for the “best selling” artists of the previous 4-month consignment period. There is no limit to the number of times an artist can apply and be selected for consignment, however, each artist must reapply every 4 months. The Gift Shop accommodates many different styles and forms of artwork from established and emerging artists. When artwork is sold, Alamance Arts retains the right to 30% of the sale’s profit. The various sites of our gift shop consignment spaces are listed below. Gift Shop artwork may be of any size or shape, but to the purpose of giving details of gift shop space capacities, the recommended quantities of artwork are described below.*
