Winter Wonderland at Alamance Arts is a holiday event that showcases the works of local and regional artists, giving them an additional platform for sales and exposure to new patrons during the holidays. Artists who are chosen to participate (juried panel) set their own pricing for items to be sold and retain 70% of the proceeds. Alamance Arts handles all transactions and advertising. There is no specific theme or color palette required for art., though some holiday art is encouraged. This will be an opportunity to sell all forms of art including, but not limited to: painting, woodworking, jewelry, glass work, fiber arts, stickers, sculpture, ceramics, etc.. Artists who are accepted to show will also receive a 30% discount to our opening ticketed-event on Friday, November 7 if choosing to attend. NOTE that photographs of items/samples of work are the criteria for submission/judging. Photos of samples should be emailed to Kat Harris - artservices@alamancearts.org NO LATER than September 27, 2025. Submissions will NOT be reviewed until the submission fee is received. If the submission fee is not remitted prior to the September 27 deadline, your art will not be included in the judging for inclusion.
Be a part of the Alamance Arts Artist Core - a group of local and regional artists with the goal of connecting to the community through promotion of their art. Artist memberships become “effective” the date they become live on our website and are not limited to visual artists. An Artist Core Membership offers the benefit of being listed on a live, regularly updated document that will be housed on alamancearts.org. Alamance Arts frequently receives requests for recommendations of artists, and this directory will serve as our tool and one for the community to locate talent. In addition, you’ll have increased visibility through our website. (Which in 2024 had 49,000 unique visitors.) And, you can use your membership to help elevate your portfolio.
PLEASE DOWNLOAD AND READ THE ARTIST CORE AGREEMENT PRIOR TO CHECK OUT
*Note that processing times for launch may be extended, as the directory will not be published until a minimum number of artists have signed up to participate. Your membership will not go into effect until the day the membership goes live on alamancearts.org
Call for Art for Artists with Disabilities
Arts Access North Carolina and TLC (Founded as the Tammy Lynn Center) invites artists with disabilities in North Carolina to submit work for purchase and permanent display in the newly constructed Austin Collard Residence and Community Center at TLC, a long-term care home for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). For over 55 years, TLC has been a nonprofit leader in compassionate, community-based support — serving children, adults, and families through programs rooted in dignity, connection, and care.
This new space will serve as both a residence and community hub. We’re seeking artwork that reflects what home means at TLC: a feeling of warmth, care, and belonging. We invite artists to help shape a space that will comfort, inspire, and uplift the individuals who call this place home.
Open to North Carolina artists with disabilities aged 18 and older, including aspiring, emerging and established artists. For additional information or questions, contact Makayla@ArtsAccessInc.Org.
