Take a Class or Workshop with Alamance Arts!

Alamance Arts offers occasional classes and workshops in partnership with local artists to help promote the arts and learning in Alamance County. When you take a class, not only are you learning a new skill but also supporting local artists and Alamance Arts.

Classes and locations vary each month. Be sure you are following us on social media and getting our newsletter to learn about all our offerings.

Unless otherwise stated, all classes include materials and have a minimum size requirement of 4 students. Classes cannot be refunded if cancelled closer than 72 hours prior to class. (Due to costs incurred by the instructor.) However, you can give your spot to anyone if unable to attend.

August Wine Tasting At The Silver Corkscrew

Join us for an evening of wine testing and education. Experience tastings of between 4-6 fine wines from a local distributor. Different wines (and distributors) will be featured each month. Food will be available for purchase, with 10% of food sales going to Alamance Arts. ALL proceeds from the ticket sales go back to benefit Alamance Arts and the arts in Alamance County.

Barn Quilt Painting Class September 14

Join Alamance Arts for our quarterly offering of our ever popular Barn Quilt Painting Class. During this class, you will create a 24”x24” barn quilt in your choice of 24 patterns. You will leave with your painting! Each one is treated so that it can withstand the elements and be hung outside. Space is limited! Cost includes all supplies. Sign up today! NOTE: Class is held at Maple Street Recreation Center, which is located diagonally behind Alamance Arts and beside the Children’s Museum.

FREE Smartphone Photography Lunch and Learn with Daniel Walker

Danny Walker, formally of Mebane is a photography educator and adventurer  \who has traveled the world teaching and gathering exciting images.  For the last 10 plus years he has taught photography at the College of William and Mary and the University of Richmond.  On September 18th he will lead a lunch time workshop on how to enhance your cell phone photography experience.  This event is FREE. Registration required and space is limited. Please BRING your lunch if you wish to eat during the workshop. Lunch is not provided.
