This hands-on workshop combines bookmaking, art journaling, and creative exploration. Participants will create a watercolor journal using the Japanese stab binding method before exploring a variety of mixed-media techniques to bring its pages to life.
Using acrylic paint, Inktense pencils, water-soluble crayons, and other expressive materials, you'll learn simple approaches to layering color, adding texture, and combining words and images. You will leave with a handmade journal, several completed pages, and plenty of inspiration to continue creating at home.
