Join local artist, Ashley Whiston, in creating a beautiful acrylic painting where you bring a bouquet of fresh florals to life on an 11×14 canvas. This class will focus on observation, composition and capturing the beauty of fresh florals on canvas. This workshop is from 10 am - 5 pm on Saturday, August 29 at Alamance Arts. There will be a break at lunchtime (1 hour) for you to enjoy a bagged lunch from home OR head out to enjoy one of the many nearby restaurants. You’ll also have time to view the America 250 Exhibit and look around Picasso’s gift shop. All supplies are included. This class is intended for those who have had some prior experience with acrylics. (And, upon completion of the class, you’ll even get to take some fresh flowers home.)
Note that this class has a 5 participant minimum. If minimum class registration is not met at least 72 hours prior to class, you will be notified and a refund issued.
