Ever wonder what stories your family will tell about you years from now? What would they get right? What might they leave out or misinterpret because they don’t know your whole story?
Join us for this generative workshop where ou’ll craft your legacy story for the future while creating opportunities for deeper connection with your loved ones in the present.
Participants will be introduced to author and instructor Dominique Daye Hunter who will guide you through brainstorming and exercises to create one (or both) of the following:
A 250-500 word legacy story focused on your own life or the life of a loved one or mentor you’d like remembered
A letter of wisdom or gratitude that youd like to pass down to future generations

If cost is a barrier in participating, contact Kim Williard at associate@alamancearts.org. A limited number of scholarships will be available, including one for an Occaneechi Band of the Saponi Nation tribal member.
