This exhibit features 80 photographs from the Hugh Morton Collection of Photographs and Films at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The curator of the exhibit - photographic archivist Stephen J. Fletcher of UNC - will be here to discuss the photographs and answer questions. Hugh Morton’s influence extended well beyond photography. He inherited Grandfather Mountain in 1952 and developed it into one of North Carolina’s best-known travel destinations while also working to protect its natural environment.
